Jonathan Gould

Jonathan was a full time Professional Poker Dealer for more than 35  years, but now he is semi-retired, dealing the top Poker Tournaments around the country and working in his own business as a LegalShield services representative.

Jonathan is also a Veteran, having served in the US Army from 1972-1974. He still stands by the oath he took as a young soldier to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and to adhere to the principles contained within. Barry Kessler

After 36 years in his family jewelry business, Barry took his skills learned and became a real estate agent. He joined Troop Real Estate and is finding his new line of work to be very exciting and appreciates the similarities of real estate to his jewelry business. “It’s about product and market knowledge and customer service.”  Barry was a quick start earning Troop Agent of the Year for 2011 at the Simi Valley, Troop Main office. That makes the Kessler Team back to back recipients of the Agent of the Year Award. For Barry, it is noteworthy to have been recognized by his new Peers in his new field of business during his first year!

Additionally,  Barry loves to cook and he sails whenever he gets a chance, and is always with his trusty  phone, even on a pitching deck.

Ace Chapman

Ace bought his first business when he was nineteen. It was an stock market simulator called CoolWallStreet. After selling it and seeing the benefits in buying a business over starting one.

But after he sold his business he was still tempted by the ease of taking a job and took an amazing offer to enter corporate America. “It was 2002 but it seems like it was just yesterday. I was 22 and just the thought of what the next 40 years would look like terrified me.”

After playing around in the stock market and attempting some start up business ideas here and there Ace’s savings had dwindled. It seemed nearly impossible to get ahead. “I had little savings, student loans, and credit card debt. I was so sick of being broke and not being able to afford to finer things in life or the freedom to follow my passion for travel and connecting with people. But I was terrified to try anything.”

Best advice: “Don’t focus on today.”
