iTune Link ROD LANDES, has been teaching life lessons to High School students for the past 22 years as a Speech and Debate teacher, and in his English classes. Rod has taught for 20 years at 9 different schools, and 4500 students. In speech, Rod has been the coach of two National and two State Speech Champions. He is a double diamond coach of the National Forensic League. He has had state speech qualifiers all 18 years he has coached and been to nationals 12 of those years. Rod is currently teaching at Gregori High School in Modesto, California. So without further ado let’s get right into the conversation with Rod.
BLUF: You can do anything you want if you want it bad enough; it is the books you read, the music you listen to, the people you hang around that will change your life.

- Are you a MAC or PC? PC Has special equipment at his school. The computer and TV had made his teaching exponentially better.

- What is the best advice you have ever received? “Sometimes you are going to be on the mountain top, and sometime you are going to be in the valley, so when you are in the valley know you are going to have a mountain top experience.”
